Rout 93!

I feel like every day I drive from New Hampshire down to somewhere in Massachusetts. I'm getting very familiar with Rout 93 and the "big dig" . . . which has already been dug . . . and all the traffic that goes with. I hear them yelling "Damn Californian" when I cut them off or go too slow. I wish I could cover up my Cal plates and put Native on there so they would just leave me alone.

Today we went back into Boston and visited Amanda in her beautiful office. I have never seen a nicer view of Boston . . . honestly. I'd give anything just to have her office or to just sit in there every day and look out the window. You can see the Custom House right there in front of you and all around Quincy Market and a beautiful view of the harbor . . . breathtaking!
We brought a bag of corn for her??? What better gift to bring up to your executive office building and drop off in your beautiful downtown office. My mother taught me years ago to not show up at someone's house empty handed . . . so far this trip I've shown up at everyone's house completely empty handed and with empty stomachs . . . but today we decide to bring a gift bag of corn? At one point Cole did tell Candace that she looked like a hick carrying a bag of corn through the city of Boston. But Candace convinced us that this was the best corn she's ever had and it was freshly picked that day at a farm near her house. Amanda please tell me you ate the corn and it's not spending the weekend in your office. We also grabbed a cup of coffee with Mark Driscoll . . . and drove some poor man out of his fake coffee shop office, because we were laughing too hard. . . . you know you're responsible for that one Driscoll . . . thank you for the laughs.

Brought the corn to a BBQ yesterday - grilled it up. No need for butter OR salt. Perfection. Great to see you both and your awesome kids!! Nice blog too!
    Love Amanda
