Something about severe thunder storms in Kansas made me nervous . . . I know Dorothy's story was fiction but the word severe in Kansas just makes me search for funnel clouds on the horizon. I followed the road out of town and never saw one yellow brick.
. . . I think the storm was traveling at 60 mph out of town because I was driving 70 mph and I continued to catch up with it. We pulled into to St Louis and it was raining by the time we got tickets to go up inside the arch the sun came out again?
